Arrival. Afternoon visit to the renown Sky Lagoon for a warm welcome spa ritual. Immerse yourself in warmth at our oceanside geothermal lagoon, as the dramatic North Atlantic Ocean stretches out before you. Feel yourself relax and unwind as you take in the dazzling sunsets and moody skies. Then, take your relaxation deeper with the Ritual, a unique seven-step experience.

Welcome Dinner at hotel. Overnight at host 4-star hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Thingvellir (Þingvellir)National Park, the only UNESCO World Heritage site on Iceland’s mainland. Þingvellir is a fascinating place for its geology and beauty, as it is located directly between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. This rift valley, which runs all the way through Iceland, is more visible here than in any other part of the country. The tension created by how the plates are pulling apart means the area has many ravines filled with crystal-clear water and beautiful stretches of moss-coated lava rock. This outstanding scenery gives the area its unparalleled value.

We’ll run/walk 5k, 5 miles or 10 miles through Thingvellir National Park to Lake Laugarvatn and earn views of the mountains. Post run/walk, we will enjoy the Fontana Spa for swimming, sauna, and a unique experience of the healing powers of the geothermal springs. Soak in a natural pool, listen to the bubbling hot spring in the steam rooms, or for the venturesome, take a dip in the refreshing lake.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight at 4-Star Hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we hike up to Reykjadalur Valley. Also known as Steam Valley a famous geothermal area. We will hike through the geothermal area and end up by the warm river where you can have a warm soak. This is a unique experience as you can relax quietly with nature surrounding you.

Arrive at Geysir hot spring area for lunch (included) and to explore the area. The geysers in Haukadalur are situated in an active geothermal area. After, we will visit the Gullfoss waterfall (the Golden Waterfall), located in the canyon of Hvita river in southwest Iceland. Gullfoss is one of the most beautiful and most popular waterfalls in Iceland.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included. Overnight at 4-Star Hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for our day of touring along the south coast of Iceland, one of the country’s most scenic regions. Along the way we stop at the gorgeous Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can walk behind it and through to the other side. We also stop at the majestic and much-photographed Skogafoss waterfall, with its 60-meter drop, and visit the Skogar folk museum, to get a taste of how Icelanders lived in centuries past. Other highlights include views of the stunning Myrdalsjokull glacier, the black sand coastline, and the impressive Reynisdrangar rock formations.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included. Overnight at 4-Star Hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a breathtaking hiking expedition through the stunning landscapes of Thorsmork, Iceland, and experience the awe-inspiring beauty of this unique destination. We will earn epic views as we explore this untouched wilderness while immersing ourselves in Iceland’s natural wonders.

Thorsmork is a mountain range nestled between major glaciers Tindfjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull, and Eyjafjallajökull. The ridge, named “Thor’s Valley” in Icelandic, is a dramatic landscape of towering peaks, glacier rivers, and black deserts. Craggy mountains and ice-topped peaks slope down to lush birch forests and mossy gulches. It’s also home to some of Iceland’s most beautiful hiking routes.

Four levels of hikes are included (something for everyone). We’ll enjoy a hearty Icelandic meal before we head back to Reykjavik.

Breakfast and lunch are included. Dinner on your own. Overnight at 4-Star Hotel in Reykjavik.

Blue Lagoon – Suzuki Midnight Sun Race

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to one of Iceland’s most famous attractions, The Blue Lagoon.  A unique wonder of Iceland, the Blue Lagoon is a result of all that volcanic activity the small island is so famous for. In the middle of the weird and wonderful, flat black lava fields of the Svartsengi National Park, the huge, outdoor lagoon is filled with naturally heated geothermal water which comes from 6,500 feet (2,000 meters) below the surface of the earth. It is full of minerals, silica, and algae and is especially good for the skin and relaxation. As well as soaking and swimming in the pool, the Blue Lagoon offers in-water massage treatments, saunas and steam rooms, and a cafe. A perfect way to relax before our Midnight Race!

In the afternoon we will depart for the race expo to pick up packets and participate in the Midnight Run 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon. In the Suzuki Midnight Sun Race you can choose between three distances; half marathon, 10 km race, and 5 km race. The route has some great viewings like the salmon river Ellidaa, lake Raudavatn, and a beautiful golf course. The race starts in Laugardalur valley which is in full bloom this time of year. There is a 3-hour time limit for the half marathon.

Breakfast included. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight at 4-Star Hotel in Reykjavik.

Today is a free day to relax, shop or explore Reykjavik. Explore on your own, or book one of our excursions: whale watching, horseback riding, cycling, super jeep tour, ATV ride…

In the evening, we will celebrate our adventurous week together at our celebration dinner. Breakfast and dinner included. Lunch on your own. Overnight at 4-Star Hotel in Reykjavik.

Breakfast at the hotel. Get ready for an exhilarating adventure in the heart of Iceland’s volcanic landscape. Today, you’ll hike up a Volcano! Witness the raw power of nature as you hike through mesmerizing lava fields, bubbling hot springs, and breathtaking volcanic landscapes. And that’s not all, in the afternoon, we’ll hike Thingvellir National Park.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included. Overnight at 4-Star Hotel.

Sunday will be a day of tearful goodbyes. A week in Iceland is like nothing else on earth. The earned views, the people, the spas, unmatched. Until we explore again…
