Day 1 – January 16th – Welcome to Paradise!
Welcome to Paradise. Your guide will be waiting outside the arrivals terminal with a sign with your names on it. After leaving the airport, you begin the journey to the town of La Fortuna at the base of the Arenal Volcano. Resting on the hills and slopes of the valley and tucked within the lush landscape you will find your hotel, The Springs Resort & Spa (a favorite among celebrities). Facing the magnificent Arenal Volcano, this luxury hotel features 17 spring-fed thermal pools and a wildlife sanctuary. River tubing, kayaking, horseback riding, are all accessible on-site as well. Enjoy the view of the Arenal Volcano from your private balcony while lying in a comfy hammock. Sip tropical cocktails while relaxing by one of natural hot-spring-fed lagoons and pools.
The four elements of nature are present in this unique Arenal Volcano luxury hotel and resort, featuring the heat of the volcano, the flowing waters of the hot springs, the pure air of the rainforest, and the fertile earth of the Fortuna de San Carlos Region.
Day 2 – January 17th – Costa Rica Coffee and Chocolate 5k
This morning, run/walk a Fastest to the Finish 5k in Arenal, and celebrate with the Don Juan Coffee and Chocolate Tour post-race! The afternoon is open for optional tours at The Springs Resort.
Overnight The Springs. Breakfast Included.
Day 3 – January 18th – Volcano Canopy and Zipline Tour
Sky Trek, Sky Walk, Sky Tram – the complete combo! Discover a birds-eye view of the volcano, lake, and rainforest as you travel up in open-air cable cars to explore the suspended bridges before speeding back down to earth along almost two miles of zip lines.
Start with an informative and interesting walk along jungle trails and hanging bridges, with a naturalist guide, and learn all about the flora, fauna, the history and culture of the area.
Afterward, ride the open gondola up through the dense rainforest to the unique volcano observation deck. From there you will have great photography opportunities with treetop views of the tropical rainforest. See the jungle from a different perspective and maybe see some different creatures that inhabit it.
Return to the ground below by ziplining a series of cables across the tree canopies and canyons. This is an exhilarating fun way to see the rainforest and the beauty of the area. Modified versions are available.
Overnight The Springs. Tours Included. Breakfast and Lunch Included.
Day 4 – January 19th – Rainforest Lake Arenal Run/Walk
Another spectacular run/walk today, and this time you will have Lake Arenal as your vista as you head out on your jog.

Check into our hotel, Si Como No Resort and Wildlife Refuge, relax, and enjoy the rest of your day.
Day 6 – January 21st – Beach Relays and Party!
Today we run/walk the beach area in Manuel Antonio. The course will be a fun Beach Relays race format on one of Costa Rica’s prettiest beaches followed by a Beach Party. Run/walk and then chill-ax at the beach. Snacks, fruit, beer, and water will be included.
